During this recovery period, you’ll want to rest with your head elevated at a 45-degree angle and ice the area according to Dr. Dawli’s post-operative care instructions

Depending on your needs, blepharoplasty can be done with a local anesthetic in just one hour. However, more severe cases may require up to a four-hour surgery with the use of general anesthesia.
